Memo: NSEA Supports SB 153 (2017)

NSEA supports SB 153 requiring a course in computer education and technology for graduation.
Published: February 28, 2017

The Nevada State Education Association represents 40,000 teachers and education support professionals across Nevada. We believe that every Nevada student deserves a quality public education.

With technological advancements and the emerging economy centered on tech, it is imperative that Nevada’s students have access to an education that reflects these new realities. Whatever path a student may take, computer skills and technical knowledge will likely be necessary to succeed.
