NSEA Lobby Day (February 27, 2023)

Monday, February 27, 2023 is NSEA's Lobby Day! We have a full day of members lobbying our elected officials on Time For 20 and the Respect Educators Act.

At 1 PM, NSEA will be making a presentation to the Senate Committee on Education. While we understand this is in the middle of the school day, we'll be recording the live stream which you will be able to watch here.

At 4 PM, NSEA will be hosting the Educator Symposium at the Nevada Legislature (room 3100). This will be the concluding event on NSEA's Lobby Day. We look forward to you joining us as we focus solely on educators, the crisis our schools are facing, and the vital role that our voices must play in the legislative process.

UCN Red Flags For Education

On Saturday March 4, 2023 at 11am, UCN is hosting "Red Flags For Education"  in Carson City. With this project, attendees will be placing red flags on the lawn of the Nevada Legislative Building. Each flag will serve as a reminder to Legislators and the community that educators are engaged in the fight for public education. If you'll be in the area, you are invited to attend and add your red flag for education!
