NSEA Strategic Plan

The Nevada State Education Association has been the voice of Nevada educators for over 120 years. We strive to be as diverse as the students we represent. We are united in our purpose: advocating for justice and excellence in public education. NSEA members are the trusted education experts, united to ensure an exceptional public education for every Nevada student.

In 2022, the NSEA Board of Directors reviewed and analyzed the previous Strategic Goals and subsequently formed the NSEA Strategic Plan Committee tasked with writing a new plan. On the opposite side of this page is the culmination of months of hard work performed by that committee.

You may be asking what is a strategic plan, and why NSEA is proposing a new and updated one. Simply put, a strategic plan is a systematic process for understanding the association. This helps NSEA guide its business and decisions of the association. For example:

Where have we been?
What are we doing?
Where do we want to go?
What value are we giving our members?

Throughout the development of this Strategic Plan, our member leaders have worked diligently to complete a comprehensive list of goals and outcomes that will create the best union possible for you and your fellow NSEA members.
