NSEA TIP

The Nevada State Education Association actively participates in the campaigns of our endorsed candidates through both services to the candidates such as organizing door-to-door walks or consulting on printing of brochures and through direct contributions to candidates.

Contributions from our members that are earmarked specifically for political action are housed in our political action committee account, "TIP."   "TIP" stands for Together in Politics.  As a political action committee, NSEA (and each of its affiliates) is required to report all contributions to the TIP account and the expenditures that are made from that account to the Secretary of State.

NSEA's ability to participate in the political arena with financial contributions is vital to the effort to accomplish our legislative goals as outlined in our Legislative Program.

Members who contribute $100.00 or more per year are our NSEA TIPsetters, and are recognized each year at our Delegate Assembly.
